PM on addressing issues of Sindh govt over development

It underscores the importance of proactive measures to resolve issues and expedite the implementation of development projects for the benefit of the people

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, during a meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, underscored the importance of addressing the issues and concerns raised by the Sindh government regarding development projects. Additionally, he instructed for the acceleration of work on ongoing federal-funded development projects in the province.

The Prime Minister issued these directives while emphasizing the need for effective collaboration between the federal and provincial governments to ensure the timely and efficient execution of development initiatives. The meeting, attended by Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal, Ahad Khan Cheema, Sardar Awais Khan Leghari, Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Jehanzeb Khan, and other relevant senior officials, aimed to facilitate constructive dialogue and coordination between stakeholders.

This directive reflects the government’s commitment to addressing the developmental needs of all provinces and fostering cooperation between federal and provincial authorities. It underscores the importance of proactive measures to resolve issues and expedite the implementation of development projects for the benefit of the people.

During a meeting, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance of addressing the issues and concerns raised by the Sindh government regarding development initiatives. He highlighted the necessity for cooperation between the federal and provincial governments to revive the economy, emphasizing that economic stability is a primary objective.

The Prime Minister has directed federal ministers to play an active role in seeking permanent solutions to the financial, economic, and other challenges confronting Sindh province. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of including all provinces in the consultation process for the forthcoming development budget, highlighting the significance of ensuring the involvement of all stakeholders.

This directive underscores the government’s dedication to fostering cooperation and collaboration between federal and provincial bodies to foster economic prosperity and sustainable development. It exemplifies a proactive stance in tackling challenges and advocating for inclusive decision-making processes that benefit all provinces.
