
SUKKUR: Speaker of the Sindh Assembly, Syed Awais Qadir Shah, has announced a grant of Rs. 1 million from his personal funds for Pakistan Sweet Home Sukkur. This commitment was made during his visit to the facility, where he reviewed the library, residential facilities, and interacted with the children residing there. During his visit, Speaker Shah expressed his support for the institution, which currently houses 101 children.
Awais Qadir Shah highlighted the importance of strengthening institutions that work towards the upbringing and education of children, ensuring they have the same opportunities as other children in society. He emphasized that the mission of Pakistan Sweet Home, established by Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah and himself, is to support and serve underprivileged children, helping them achieve their potential. The Speaker expressed satisfaction with the progress of the children at Pakistan Sweet Home, noting that they are studying in reputable educational institutions.
Shah assured that, as Speaker of the Sindh Assembly, he would continue to support their growth and development. He also extended an invitation for the children to visit the Sindh Assembly, fostering a sense of inclusion and engagement. The administrator of Pakistan Sweet Home Sukkur, Shabir Ahmed Memon, expressed gratitude to Speaker Shah for his ongoing support.
