The operations have been characterized by a meticulous approach, aiming to strike at the heart of the militant group’s infrastructure while ensuring the safety of civilians

TIRAK: In a significant counterterrorism success, the Pakistan Army has reported the successful execution of intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in the Tirah area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The operations, which began on August 20, have resulted in the death of 37 terrorists and injuries to 14 others, marking a decisive victory against the militant group Fitna Al Khwarij.

The military has hailed these operations as a major achievement in its ongoing fight against terrorism. Brigadier Commander Frontier Corps Amir Nawaz Khan confirmed that the security forces have effectively thwarted the infiltration attempts of Khawarij militants from Afghanistan. The focus of the operations has been on dismantling militant hideouts and neutralizing key figures within the group.

Among the notable successes, the operations led to the death of Abu Dhar, alias Saddam, a prominent leader of Fitna Al Khwarij. This loss is a significant setback for the militant organization, which has been a major threat in the region. Brigadier Faisal of the Special Service Group (SSG) emphasized the coordinated strategy employed to minimize casualties among both the local population and military personnel while maximizing damage to the enemy.

Brigadier Faisal remarked, “By the grace of Allah Almighty and the bravery of our soldiers, we have inflicted heavy losses on the Khawarij and dismantled their top leadership.” The operations have been characterized by a meticulous approach, aiming to strike at the heart of the militant group’s infrastructure while ensuring the safety of civilians.

Major Mohsin, who led the mission targeting Khawarij hideouts, praised the exceptional efforts of the SSG and Light Commandos. Despite the challenging conditions, the troops displayed remarkable resilience and effectiveness in their operations. Lieutenant Hafiz Muzamil confirmed that the operations have indeed inflicted substantial losses on the enemy forces. The Pakistan Army has reiterated its commitment to protecting the lives and property of the local population.

The ongoing operations reflect a dedicated and strategic approach to ensuring regional stability and security. The military’s resolve to combat the threat posed by Khawarij militants underscores its broader goal of securing peace and stability in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. As the operations continue, the Pakistan Army remains steadfast in its mission to eradicate the threat of terrorism and restore peace to the region. The success in Tirah represents a crucial step in this ongoing effort, reflecting the Army’s capability and determination to address security challenges effectively.
