Due to elevated humidity levels, temperatures will feel approximately five degrees Celsius higher than the actual recorded temperatures. Today’s minimum temperature in Karachi was recorded at 25°C, with a maximum forecast to range between 31°C and 33°C.
Under the influence of monsoon winds originating from the Bay of Bengal, Karachi is expected to encounter thunderstorms and rain accompanied by strong winds between September 3 and 4. On Sunday, the weather was partly cloudy with a maximum temperature of 32.6°C. The Pakistan Meteorological Department indicates that moist winds from the Bay of Bengal are likely to move into the upper regions of the country on September 2, potentially impacting western parts of the country by evening or night. Consequently, Karachi may face thunderstorms and rain with strong winds on September 3 and 4 (Tuesday and Wednesday). Additionally, various districts in rural Sindh—including Sukkur, Larkana, Khairpur, Dadu, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Mithi, Mirpurkhas, Jacobabad, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tharparkar, Umerkot, and Sanghar—are also expected to experience rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds.
