KARACHI: Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Chairman of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM), paid a heartfelt tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on the occasion of his death anniversary. In his statement, Dr. Siddiqui commemorated the legacy of the great leader who, on August 14, 1947, achieved what he termed a “political miracle” by founding Pakistan as a model state for Muslims globally.
Dr. Siddiqui expressed sorrow that Quaid-e-Azam’s principles, commands, and vision have been sidelined over time. He noted that Pakistan, today, appears to be straying from the ideals set forth by Jinnah. Emphasizing the need to realign with Quaid-e-Azam’s teachings, Dr. Siddiqui called for a renewed commitment to Jinnah’s vision as a pathway to ensuring the nation’s self-reliance and dignity.
“In honoring Quaid-e-Azam today, we must reflect deeply on his ideals and teachings. It is only by adhering to his vision that we can restore the dignity and progress of our nation,” Dr. Siddiqui asserted. The tribute highlights MQM’s ongoing commitment to reviving and upholding the founding principles of Pakistan, as envisioned by its founder.
