KARACHI: The spokesperson for the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) has categorically dismissed circulating reports suggesting internal strife within the party. In a statement released on Wednesday, the spokesperson reassured party members and supporters that MQM-P remains unified and continues to grow stronger each day. “There is no conflict at any level within the party,” the spokesperson asserted, emphasizing the collective commitment of MQM-P members to their shared goals and ideals.
They urged both party members and the public to disregard rumors propagated by those who wish to distort the truth for personal agendas. In an appeal to media outlets, the spokesperson called for responsible journalism, urging reporters to verify their information before dissemination. “The media must refrain from broadcasting unverified information that can create unnecessary confusion and undermine the efforts of the party,” they stated. This statement comes amid heightened scrutiny of political parties in Pakistan, where speculation and rumors can often cloud public perception.
The MQM-P’s reaffirmation of unity aims to quell any concerns regarding its internal dynamics and to reinforce its commitment to serving the interests of its constituents. As political tensions continue to ebb and flow in the region, MQM-P’s firm stance on unity reflects a broader strategy to maintain stability within the party while addressing external challenges. By calling for integrity in media reporting, the party seeks to foster a more informed public discourse and ensure that its narrative remains clear and focused on its objectives.
