RAWALPINDI: In a notable diplomatic engagement that underscores the deep-rooted ties between the two nations, Air Marshal RA Udeni P. Rajapaksa, the Commander of the Sri Lankan Air Force, met with General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) of Pakistan, on Thursday in Rawalpindi. The meeting took place at the Joint Staff Headquarters and served as a platform to bolster defence and security cooperation between Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
During their discussions, General Mirza emphasized the historical significance of the relationship between the two countries, advocating for enhanced collaboration across various defence sectors.
