QUETTA: In a tragic incident in the Prom area of Punjgur, Balochistan, armed assailants attacked workers engaged in dam construction, resulting in the deaths of five individuals. The district administration confirmed that the bodies have been transported to the Teaching Hospital in Punjgur for post-mortem examinations.
Shahid Rand, spokesperson for the Balochistan government, stated that the attack targeted local personnel involved in dam maintenance. The police and district officials are on-site, and investigations are underway to apprehend the culprits.
