KARACHI: Renowned host and comedian Tabish Hashmi has revealed his new mission during his guest appearance on ‘Geo Pakistan,’ a morning show on Geo News. He excitedly announced plans to launch a unique game show in November, aimed at engaging viewers not only with humor but also with opportunities to win prizes.
Hashmi stated that every citizen would have a chance to participate in the game show, which will feature contestants answering various questions to earn cash prizes rather than merely competing in physical challenges. He also shared that Geo News’ popular comedy program ‘Hansna Mana Hai’ will now air four times a week with a new format to bring more laughter to audiences.
During the show, Hashmi uncovered some behind-the-scenes secrets of ‘Hansna Mana Hai,’ mentioning that many guests feel pressure to be funny, and some attempt to make jokes but fall short. He remarked on the surprising fact that some prominent personalities choose not to appear on his show due to misunderstandings or past grievances that he is unaware of.
Discussing the challenges of comedy, Hashmi noted that making jokes about politics can be particularly difficult, as it often leads to misunderstandings and negative reactions from individuals involved in political discussions.
