KARACHI: An exhibition titled Elements in Motion, featuring the captivating works of five accomplished artists from various fine art disciplines, opened at the French cultural center, Alliance Française de Karachi. The event, which drew a large crowd of art enthusiasts, was inaugurated by Muhammad Ahmed Shah, President of the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, who attended as the chief guest.

The exhibition showcases the work of prominent oil artist Arif Ansari, Abdul Jabbar, Khusro Sabzwari, Shan Rizvi Amrohvi, and S.M. Naqvi—each bringing a distinctive artistic voice to the collection. Chairman of the Arts Council Fine Art Committee, Farrukh Tanveer Shahab, was also present among the attendees.

Speaking at the inauguration, Muhammad Ahmed Shah praised the exhibition, emphasizing the significance of such artistic endeavors. “The remarkable works of five representative artists of our era are on display here today. I am grateful for the invitation—this is excellent work. Such exhibitions should continue to be held regularly,” he said.

“Through the media, I invite all art lovers to witness this exhibition for themselves. Our renowned artists provide a valuable learning opportunity for the younger generation. Today’s exhibition is truly magnificent.”

The three-day exhibition, running until February 21, is being held at Alliance Française de Karachi, located in Clifton’s Kehkashan area. With its diverse range of artistic expressions, Elements in Motion offers visitors a chance to experience contemporary creativity at its finest.
