LAHORE: Renowned Pakistani fashion designer and actor Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY) has entered Hollywood, marking his debut both as a designer and an actor in the Disney+ series Deli Boys.
According to media reports, HSY designed costumes for the Hollywood production and will also appear in the series. This makes him the first Pakistani designer to work in Hollywood. Deli Boys revolves around two Pakistani-American brothers and consists of 10 episodes, with HSY appearing in the 8th and 9th episodes.
He has also designed outfits for lead actors Poorna Jagannathan, Saagar Shaikh, and Zen Salim. HSY previously began his acting career in 2021 with the drama Pehli Si Muhabbat and made his film debut in Ishrat: Made in China (2022).
