Speaking during his visit to Gujranwala Cantonment, the president said the military stood “like a wall of steel,” drawing strength from the unyielding spirit of the people. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir received the president during his visit, where the two reviewed the progress and success of the recent military operation, dubbed the “Battle of Truth.”
President Zardari commended the professionalism, discipline, and high moral character displayed by officers and soldiers. He emphasized that the sacrifices of the martyrs remain a sacred trust for the nation and a lasting source of pride. “The message has been sent loud and clear,” Zardari remarked. “Pakistan stands strong, unified, and ready.”
Meeting with troops on the ground, the president expressed deep admiration for their morale and commitment, congratulating them on the operation’s successful completion. He affirmed that the outcome had not only demonstrated military capability but also reinforced Pakistan’s resolve in the face of aggression.
