ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, while addressing the National Assembly, strongly condemned the deadly attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, declaring it a new low in what he termed India’s campaign against Pakistan. He asserted that after facing humiliation in conventional warfare, India has now resorted to targeting children through proxy violence.
“In Khuzdar today, innocent children were attacked. This is the enemy’s cowardice—having been defeated on the battlefield, they now turn their guns on our young ones,” Tarar said. He praised the Pakistan Armed Forces for delivering what he described as a “historic defeat” to India under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir and said the nation stands firmly with its military.
Referring to statements made by Field Marshal Asim Munir, Tarar quoted him as saying, “What can these 1,200 men even do?”—a remark aimed at diminishing the threat posed by terrorist proxies. Tarar echoed the sentiment, vowing that every terrorist and collaborator would be hunted down and eliminated.
