ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Ataullah Tarar has vowed that the attempts by a small group of terrorists to destabilize Pakistan will fail, and that the ‘Fitna-e-Hindustan’ (India’s mischief) in Balochistan will be eliminated at any cost. Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, Tarar said Pakistan responded responsibly to Indian aggression, with India’s narrative facing defeat on every front.
Ataullah Tarar credited Field Marshal Asim Munir’s strategy for the success, saying divine support was with Pakistan in all battles. “We have defeated India not just militarily but diplomatically as well,” he said, praising the efforts of Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar’s team for their dedication. Tarar also noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif effectively presented Pakistan’s stance on the global stage.
The Federal Minister criticized Indian media for spreading falsehoods and fake news, contrasting it with Pakistan’s media which played a positive role during tense times. He added that the Pakistani nation demonstrated unity and solidarity, and the operation ‘Bunyad-e-Mursas’ will always be remembered as a battle for justice. He accused India of being behind terrorism in Balochistan, revealing that Indian Navy commander Kulbhushan Jadhav was captured in the province.
Tarar affirmed Pakistan’s armed forces are determined to eliminate all forms of terrorism. He further claimed India is involved in terrorism not just in Pakistan but across other countries, including Canada, the United States, and Australia. “Terrorism has become a part of India’s state policy,” he said. He recalled how the world witnessed India celebrating the Jaffar Express incident, with Indian media giving terrorists special coverage.
