
ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said the President and Prime Minister are graduates of the NAB, having spent a long time in NAB’s jails.
Speaking to the media outside the Islamabad Accountability Court, he says that my fifth year in NAB courts has begun, the first nine years were spent, and now it has been five years. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says that although all the top officials did not go to jail, they were included in NAB investigations, and it is the responsibility of the government to repeal NAB laws. He said that the spectacle of NAB should end, no officer in the country is ready to work, they fear NAB, it was heard that the PML-N said that they would abolish NAB.
The former Prime Minister said that as NAB cases are made, they can also end, the NAB institution has been created but the people have not benefited from it, unfortunately, the government does not tell the people why inflation happens. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi also said that he does not want to say anything about Maryam Nawaz’s tenure as Punjab’s Chief Minister. On the other hand, the Islamabad Accountability Court has adjourned the hearing on the LNG reference against former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
