KABUL: The white-ball series between Afghanistan national cricket team and Sri Lanka national cricket team has been postponed due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East, the Afghanistan Cricket Board announced.
According to the board, the series was scheduled to be played in the United Arab Emirates from March 13 to 25. It has now been rescheduled to take place later in 2026.
The ACB said the decision was taken because of logistical challenges caused by the regional situation.
Under the original schedule, three T20 matches were to be played on March 13, 15 and 17 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, while the ODI matches were set for March 20, 22 and 25 in Dubai.
