KARACHI: The Almarah Foundation, a leading humanitarian organization caring for orphaned and underprivileged children, hosted a Charity Dinner and Musical Night at the Marina Club, Karachi.

The event brought together Pakistan’s business elite, community leaders, and celebrated artists to raise funds for the foundation’s nationwide initiatives, including the “Feed the Hungry” and “Parent an Orphan” programs. The evening was hosted by Dr Danish Aman, whose efforts highlighted unity and commitment to social welfare.
Guests included some of the country’s most beloved personalities: Humayun Saeed, renowned actor and Goodwill Ambassador for Almarah Foundation; Hamza Ali Abbasi, acclaimed actor and Brand Ambassador; Bushra Ansari, legendary actress; Muneeb Butt, popular television star; and Sophiya Warraich, chairperson of the foundation.
A key feature of the night was a live charity auction, which included exclusive cricket bats signed by the Pakistan national cricket team. Bidding from Karachi’s elite reflected widespread generosity, with all proceeds supporting the construction of new shelter homes and provision of daily meals.
Dr Aman said: “The overwhelming success of this evening is a testament to the compassion and unity of our supporters. Every contribution helps turn our vision of a caring society into a reality for thousands of children.” The Almarah Foundation serves over 275 orphaned children and provides daily meals to more than 1,000 individuals.
Its mission is to nurture, educate, and empower vulnerable children through state-of-the-art shelter homes, “Apna Ghar,” and comprehensive health and education programs. The event was attended by senior government, police, and army officials, alongside the city’s elite.
