SUKKUR: Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage held its fourth Senate meeting on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Zahid Hussain Khand. The Vice Chancellor welcomed members and reviewed 36 months of transformation, highlighting progress in academics, administration, digital innovation, campus development, and heritage preservation.

The Senate unanimously approved the revised budget for FY 2024-25, budget estimates for FY 2025-26, and the audited accounts for 2023-24. Updates on the Endowment Fund, noted for its transparent investment process, were presented, while a defined contribution pension scheme for university employees was also sanctioned to secure staff financial futures.

Annual reports for FY 2023-24 and FY 2024-25 were endorsed, with members commending the Vice Chancellor and his team for their leadership. Senior officials, educational experts, industry leaders, and faculty—including representatives from HEC, SHEC, BISE Sukkur, Ziauddin University Karachi, and BBSUTSTD Khairpur—attended, pledging support to elevate the university as a model institution.
Prof. Dr Khand emphasized the university’s commitment to academic excellence, heritage conservation, and innovative research.
