LARKANA: First Lady and Member of National Assembly Aseefa Bhutto Zardari paid a solemn visit to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, where she paid her respects to her late mother, former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, along with other members of the Bhutto family.

During her visit, Aseefa Bhutto lingered at the mausoleum of Benazir Bhutto, laying floral tributes and reciting prayers in her memory, highlighting the enduring legacy of a political family that has long been at the forefront of Pakistan’s democratic movement. She also paid homage to her grandfather and former prime minister Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, acknowledging the pivotal role he played in shaping country’s modern political identity.

Observers noted that the First Lady’s visit carried symbolic significance, reinforcing the Bhutto family’s continued engagement with public life and their connection with the people of Pakistan. In her brief remarks, she emphasized the importance of national harmony, social progress, and collective responsibility, echoing the values championed by her mother and grandfather. The gathering drew attention from local supporters and party members who gathered to witness the respectful homage, creating an atmosphere of quiet reverence.

Aseefa’s visit served as a reminder of the Bhutto family’s enduring presence in Pakistan’s political and social discourse, underscoring the ongoing commitment to democratic ideals, public welfare, and the promotion of peace across the nation. The First Lady concluded her visit by offering prayers for the country’s stability and calling on citizens to work together towards a prosperous future.
