By Imtiaz Hussain SUKKUR: Police in Khairpur have arrested an alleged drug supplier and seized a large consignment of liquor during an operation near Sathio Wah, officials said on Saturday. According to the senior superintendent of police (SSP) Khairpur, Dr Samiullah Soomro, the station house officer (SHO) of Baberloi police station, along with his team, stopped a car during a blockade and recovered 216 bottles of liquor during a search of the vehicle. The procedure involved collecting peripheral blood stem cells (PBSC) over four sessions, cryopreserving them, and reinfusing them after intensive chemotherapy. The operation, conducted in the Katcha area of Ravanti in Obaro, Ghotki, also led to the recovery of a kidnap victim and a large cache of weapons.
