MANAMA: Bahrain has announced temporary relief measures for travellers on visit visas following rising regional tensions linked to the conflict involving Iran, United States, and Israel.
The decision was announced by Bahrain’s Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, which operates under the Ministry of Interior Bahrain. Authorities said the step was taken in response to the current regional situation affecting travel and mobility.
Officials stated that exceptional measures have been introduced for visitors holding visit visas, aiming to ease difficulties faced by travellers due to the ongoing instability in the Middle East.
The authorities added that the temporary relaxation will help ensure that visitors are not adversely affected by the disruptions caused by the regional conflict.
