KARACHI: The BVS Parsi High School will remain closed today, Tuesday, April 8, in a mark of respect following the passing of Khurshed Bharucha, husband of the school’s principal, Mehernaz Bharucha.
The news of his demise was met with deep sorrow across the school community. In a statement issued by the school management, heartfelt condolences were extended to the grieving family. Staff and students joined in offering prayers for the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family during this difficult time.
As one of Karachi’s most respected educational institutions, BVS Parsi High School is known for its close-knit community spirit, and the loss has been felt widely by both current students and alumni. The school will resume regular activities after the period of condolence.
The notification further said that the primary oral exam / Art exam of grades 4 and 5 scheduled for tomorrow would be held on Thursday 10th April 2025, while the Art exam of grade 7A would be held on Friday 11th April 2025. The paper review of grades 10 and 11 Cambridge will be conducted on Wednesday 9th April 2025. However, the AKU board practical exam of Chemistry of Grade 9B and 9C will be held as per schedule.
