DADU: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah addressed media representatives at the Press Club in Bhan Syedabad on Saturday, dismissing rumors about the creation of new provinces and the potential division of Sindh. He urged the public not to worry over these claims, saying, “I do not understand why there is concern on this issue when none of us support it.”
When questioned about the 28th Amendment, CM Shah said the government would respond based on verified information. He underlined that any action perceived to undermine the interests of Pakistan or Sindh would not be accepted by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
CM Shah also touched on political coordination between the PPP and the PML-N, noting that both parties continue to advance with mutual understanding and that fostering political harmony remains a priority for them.
Earlier in the day, CM Shah landed at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Airport in Sehwan by helicopter, where he was warmly received by PPP Dadu district president Syed Asif Ali Shah and former National Assembly member Sardar Sikandar Rahpoto. Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro Ghazanfar Ali Qadri, SSP Jamshoro Zafar Sadiq Changa, and a large number of PPP leaders and workers were also present.
During his visit, the Chief Minister offered condolences at the residence of PPP leader Shaman Rahpoto following the passing of his nephew. At the Press Club in Bhan Syedabad, he also expressed grief over the death of the brother of former Press Club president Adam Khan Mengal.
