KAKUL: In a strong address delivered during the Independence Day parade, General Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), outlined a multifaceted security strategy in response to rising challenges, both internal and external. The COAS identified foreign powers as the primary culprits behind a disturbing rise in what he referred to as ‘digital terrorism,’ a phenomenon he claimed is designed to create discord between state institutions and the public.
General Munir’s address, delivered at the Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul, underscored the critical importance of maintaining national unity and stability under the guiding vision of ‘Azm-e-Istehkam.’ He made it clear that those engaged in efforts to destabilize Pakistan will ultimately face failure.
