KARACHI: Comic Con Pakistan has won the “Best Comic Convention & Pop Culture Event of Pakistan” at the 19th Consumer Choice Awards organized by the Consumer Association of Pakistan, marking a historic first for any Pakistani company in this category.

At the ceremony in Karachi, Syed Aamir Sajjad, President of Aamir Sajjad Ventures, received the award on behalf of Comic Con Pakistan. Sajjad said the mission of Comic Con Pakistan is to provide a creative platform for young people across the country, enabling them to showcase their artistic talent and gain opportunities to participate in world-class events.

Sajjad described the award as a recognition of the team’s hard work and the nation’s trust. He added that Comic Con Pakistan would continue working to deliver larger and more refined events for youth, artists, animators, gamers, cosplayers and the wider pop-culture community. The Consumer Choice Award recognizes organizations and brands that excel in public preference, quality, service and trust.

Speaking to the media, Sajjad said the selection of Comic Con Pakistan was strong evidence of the momentum behind the upcoming event scheduled for Saturday, 31 January 2026, at Karachi Expo Centre, which he said would not only be a major national attraction but would also strengthen the identity of pop culture and comic communities across the region.

This year’s Comic Con Pakistan is expected to bring together thousands of young people, families, artists and creative minds under one roof for the first time. The organizers say the event will play a vital role in connecting Pakistani talent with national and international platforms.
