SUKKUR: In a vibrant display of creativity, Commissioner Fayaz Hussain Abbasi, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Sukkur, inaugurated a youth art exhibition at the Arts Council Sukkur, featuring the impressive works of local students in painting and calligraphy.
During his address at the event, Commissioner Abbasi lauded the Arts Council for its significant contributions to fostering creativity and cultural engagement in the region. “The Arts Council is a beacon for young talent in our region, offering a platform for self-expression and skill development in the arts,” he remarked. “It is initiatives like these that enrich our community and help preserve our cultural heritage.”
Members of the Arts Council informed the commissioner about various events and festivals organized throughout the year, including the Sindh Theatre Festival, which highlights local plays, music, and dance performances. Additionally, the Arts Council places a strong emphasis on literary development, hosting significant events like the Pakistan Literature Festival.
