DERA ISMAIL KHAN: DPO Ziauddin Ahmad carried out a surprise visit to the Police Facilitation Center, Driving License Branch, and Emergency Helpline 15 to review the quality of services provided to citizens.
During the inspection, the DPO interacted directly with visitors, heard their complaints, and issued immediate orders for resolution. He assessed service quality, staff conduct, and overall efficiency of operations.
At the License Branch, he examined each stage of the licensing process, instructing officials to ensure transparency, merit-based procedures, and to prevent unnecessary delays. He emphasized full computerization and regular updating of records to reduce the risk of corruption.
While visiting the Facilitation Center, the DPO reviewed services including character certificates, general and international verifications, tenancy registrations, and other public services, directing staff to provide timely and high-quality assistance under one roof.
At Emergency Helpline 15, he inspected the call response system, control room performance, and complaint-handling mechanisms, stressing prompt and effective handling of all emergency calls to strengthen public trust in the police.
Speaking on the occasion, DPO Ahmad reaffirmed that public service, transparency, and prompt justice remain the police’s top priorities, urging all officers to demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and accountability in resolving citizens’ issues.
