DADU: An open court session was held at the District Council Hall in Dadu on Wednesday to address public complaints, chaired by Sindh’s Provincial Minister for Livestock, Mohammad Ali Malkani. The minister heard grievances from citizens and assured prompt action for their resolution.
Participants highlighted issues including inadequate health facilities, dilapidated roads, activities of the land mafia, and missing wheat from government warehouses. Citizens also called for the establishment of a National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) facility and a medical university in Dadu.
The session was attended by MPA Pir Mujeeb-ul-Haq, MPA Fayaz Butt, MNA Rafiq Ahmed Jamali, MPA Zubair Junejo, Deputy Commissioner Dadu, SSP Dadu, and officers from various departments. Minister Malkani expressed strong displeasure over the absence of Forest Department officials.
Local fishermen also raised concerns about encroachments on lakes and restrictions on fishing by influential individuals. Responding to the complaints, Provincial Minister Mohammad Ali Malkani issued on-the-spot directives to the Director General of Livestock to ensure immediate action and resolution of the issues raised.
