KARACHI: Deputy Commissioner Korangi, Dr. Masood Bhutto, conducted an inspection of the ongoing polio vaccination campaign at MMP UC-4 Retta Plot today, as part of Pakistan’s nationwide efforts to eradicate polio. Accompanied by Dr. Altaf Bosan from the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC), Assistant Commissioner SFT, District Health Officer, N-STOP officer, and representatives from the TFP, Dr. Bhutto’s visit aimed to evaluate the progress of immunization activities in the area.
During his visit, Dr. Masood Bhutto personally checked the vaccination status of children in the locality, ensuring the effectiveness of the campaign. His inspection confirmed that all 39 children present in the area had successfully received their polio vaccinations. This highlighted the region’s commitment to ensuring that no child is left unprotected from the disease.

The visit also underscored the government’s dedication to the polio eradication campaign, with local and national health authorities working tirelessly to ensure comprehensive coverage. The successful immunization efforts in UC-4 Retta Plot reflect the determination and hard work of health workers and local authorities, who continue to ensure that Pakistan remains on track in its battle against polio.
