LANDI KOTAL: A powerful demonstration took place at the Government High School Sports Ground in Landi Kotal, Khyber District, organized by the Players’ Association, to demand justice for Laweed Shah Shinwari, a footballer recently killed by unknown assailants. The protest, marked by participants raising black flags and chanting slogans, was held in response to Shinwari’s tragic death. The demonstration drew a diverse crowd including political leaders, sports figures, football enthusiasts, and local residents, all united in their call for justice.

The rally was characterized by passionate appeals for a comprehensive investigation into Shinwari’s murder and the swift apprehension of those responsible. Political leaders and sports representatives at the rally emphasized the need for accountability and justice for Shinwari’s family. They underscored the necessity of protecting athletes and ensuring their safety amid rising violence and unrest.
