DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Dera Ismail Khan’s commissioner, Dawood Khan, has called for the completion of the under-construction Girls Cadet College within the stipulated timeline, emphasizing strict adherence to quality standards.
The directive came during his visit to the nearly finished project, where Regional Police Officer Syed Ashfaq Anwar, Vice Principal Afia Saadat, Additional Deputy Commissioner Farhan Khan, and other officials from the Communication and Works Department and planning divisions were present.
Farhan Khan briefed the commissioner on the project’s progress, layout, and administrative and academic aspects, noting that the college would serve as a milestone in promoting quality education, discipline, and leadership skills for female students.
Commissioner Khan inspected various sections of the college, reviewing construction quality, facilities, and timelines. He instructed departments to complete all development work on schedule without compromising standards, stressing transparency and accountability in public welfare projects.
He highlighted the importance of educational institutions like the Girls Cadet College in advancing women’s education and empowerment in the region, commending the officers for their performance and urging continued cooperation and responsibility. Concluding the visit, Khan directed officials to ensure the effective utilization of the college after completion so that the public can fully benefit from the initiative in a timely manner.
