KARACHI: Diplomats, media representatives, and business leaders gathered at the Karachi Marriott Hotel for this year’s Ramadan Grand Majlis, featuring a Moroccan theme. The venue was adorned with traditional lanterns, colours, and design elements inspired by Moroccan heritage, creating a North African ambiance.

Guests were served an array of Moroccan dishes, including rice, tagine, and couscous, along with traditional desserts and beverages. Diplomats from Germany and Ivory Coast noted that such gatherings promoted intercultural understanding and strengthened ties between nations, while offering a platform for dialogue, networking, and cultural exchange during the holy month.
Raza Abbas, the hotel’s general manager, said the annual event aimed to unite people from diverse backgrounds and celebrate cultural diversity through hospitality and tradition. The evening concluded with a lucky draw, with prizes awarded to attendees.
