SUKKUR: Professor Dr. Yousuf Khushk has officially assumed the role of Vice Chancellor at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. His appointment was marked by a warm welcome from the university’s faculty, officers, and staff, who gathered to greet him at the Admin Block.
In his inaugural address, Dr. Khushk highlighted the crucial role of educational and administrative reforms in enhancing the university’s standing. He emphasized that universities are the cornerstone of a nation’s intellectual and cultural development, asserting that the enhancement of every component within the institution is essential for its progress.
Dr. Khushk called for unity among the university’s faculty, officers, and staff, urging them to set aside grievances and work collectively towards the institution’s advancement. He acknowledged that addressing the university’s financial challenges is a collective effort, not the responsibility of an individual. With collaborative support, he believes that the university can overcome its difficulties and advance on the path to success.
Reiterating the significance of the university’s namesake, the revered poet Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, Dr. Khushk stressed the importance of maintaining the institution’s reputation and integrity. He shared his familiarity with the university’s operations, noting his long-standing association with the institution and his knowledge of every employee’s role.
