DUBAI: Dubai police have arrested a 60-year-old British man for allegedly filming Iranian missiles, launching an investigation into his activities.
According to British media, the man was reportedly visiting Dubai on vacation when he was taken into custody and transferred to a local police station. Authorities allege he was recording videos of Iranian missiles and are also investigating whether he shared any of the footage on social media.
Under UAE cybercrime laws, if convicted, he could face up to two years in prison or fines. Officials have issued clear warnings that posting content related to the war online could result in jail time.
