DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur has said that fascism against PTI is not a recent development but has been ongoing for a long time. Speaking to media, he reiterated his unwavering support for PTI and its chairman, Imran Khan, saying he would stand with the party till his last breath, undeterred by any threats or pressure.
Gandapur stated that Imran Khan has been unlawfully imprisoned and subjected to false cases, adding that justice is being denied and that the Constitution and rule of law are being openly mocked. He condemned all undemocratic actions against PTI and demanded that any scheduled family meetings with Imran Khan be allowed immediately, stressing that violations of basic human and legal rights are unacceptable.
Referring to recent speculation about his meeting with former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani and the Punjab Governor during a fair, Gandapur dismissed the claims as baseless and accused political opponents of spreading deliberate misinformation. He urged them to focus on public service rather than propaganda.
Highlighting his tenure as chief minister, Gandapur said ongoing development projects prove that his government delivered tangible results. He also mentioned his close political relationship with Sohail Afridi, the current chief minister, describing him as “like a brother.”
Concluding his statement, Ali Amin Gandapur reaffirmed his loyalty to Imran Khan, asserting that he will remain by the PTI chairman’s side under all circumstances.
