NEW DEHLI: An eyewitness of the recent Delhi explosion, Dharminder, has provided a detailed statement contradicting claims circulated by Amit Shah and sections of the Indian media. According to Dharminder, the blast occurred as he was passing from the opposite direction. He observed four charred bodies inside a white Maruti vehicle, while two people were killed and one injured outside.

The eyewitness clarified that the vehicle was a Suzuki Maruti with a Haryana-registered number plate under the name Nadeem. He accused some media outlets and political figures of misreporting the details, with claims incorrectly identifying the car as a Hyundai and changing the owner’s name to Salman or Tariq. Dharminder questioned the official portrayal of the incident as a “terrorist attack,” pointing out that most casualties were actually inside the vehicle. He added that, as usual, the Modi government continues to present its own narrative, ignoring eyewitness accounts and on-the-ground realities.

Meanwhile, Congress leader H.D. Ranganath has raised concerns over the probe into the recent blast in Delhi. Speaking to Indian media, he criticized the approach taken by authorities, describing Home Minister’s visit to the CNG vehicle blast site as “unusual.” Ranganath also questioned the decision to investigate the incident without sealing the area, particularly given the involvement of ammonium nitrate. He further noted that CCTV footage and media coverage should have quickly provided information about the vehicle involved.
