KARACHI: In a positive move against the backdrop of economic pressures, limited job opportunities, and downsizing in various sectors, Fatima Jeez has inaugurated a new branded garments factory, marking a significant step forward for the industrial sector.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Special Guest and Sindh Assembly member Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh, who cut the ribbon and toured the facility. Speaking to the media, Sheikh praised the initiative, saying that establishing new industries in the current economic climate is highly commendable and will create fresh employment opportunities.
He emphasized that the garments sector forms the backbone of Pakistan’s exports, and branded projects like Fatima Jeez play a vital role in aligning the industry with international standards. “I am confident that Fatima Jeez, through quality, innovation, and hard work, will enhance Pakistan’s reputation not only in the local market but also internationally,” he added.
Sheikh assured the factory management of full support from the Sindh Government to promote industrial growth and investment. He noted that the new factory would foster healthy competition, offer consumers better variety and quality, and generate thousands of jobs, contributing to economic recovery. Trade and industry circles also welcomed the initiative, calling it a new ray of hope for economic stability.
