SOUTH KOREA: An 81-year-old model from South Korea has made history by participating in the Miss Universe Korea competition, becoming the oldest contestant ever to enter the pageant. According to foreign media reports, the elderly contestant, Choi Soon-hwa, participated in the competition without concern for her white hair, standing confidently alongside younger models on stage. Despite her remarkable presence, she did not win the title during the event held in the capital city of Seoul on Monday.

The winner of the competition will represent South Korea at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant in November. Prior to the event, Miss Choi spoke to American media, expressing her desire to astonish the world by demonstrating how an 81-year-old woman can maintain such good health, highlighting her fitness regimen and dietary choices.
Notably, Miss Choi has been involved in the fashion industry for over 22 years, embodying a testament to the idea that age is just a number when it comes to pursuing one’s passions and aspirations.
