DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A delegation of male and female students from Gomal Law College visited the Ejaz Shaheed Police Lines in Dera Ismail Khan, accompanied by District Police Officer (DPO) Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada.

Upon arrival, the DPO was presented with a salute by a police contingent. The students and DPO paid tribute at the Martyrs’ Memorial, laying a floral wreath and offering prayers for the eternal peace of fallen police officers.

The delegation received a briefing on modern, technology-driven weapons and operational equipment provided to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police by Inspector General Zulfiqar Hameed.

Addressing the students, DPO Sahibzada stressed the importance of the rule of law, the supremacy of the Constitution, and the crucial role of youth in maintaining peace and order. He noted that justice for the oppressed and accountability for the guilty rely on effective investigation and strong legal arguments, while collaboration between police and legal professionals is essential for a safe and progressive society.

Certificates of appreciation were distributed to the students at the end of the visit. Participants described the experience as both educational and practically beneficial, praising the briefing and guidance provided by police officials.
