KARACHI: The Vice Chancellor of Greenwich University, Dr. Seema Moghal, lauded the philanthropic initiatives of Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori during a special Iftar-Dinner held at the Governor House Karachi.
Addressing the attendees, Dr. Moghal highlighted the Governor’s sustained efforts in social welfare and education. “Your selfless dedication to the welfare of our community is truly inspiring,” she said. “Your tireless work in supporting IT education and various social causes has made a tangible difference in the lives of countless individuals. Your commitment to serving the people stands as a shining example of leadership and compassion.”
She further praised the ongoing public Iftar initiative at the Governor House, describing it as a historic milestone. “For the past four years, Iftar-Dinner has been served to all who wish to attend — an unprecedented step that has transformed the Governor House into what I call an ‘Awami Governor House,’ open and accessible to the public,” she added.
In response, Governor Tessori commended Dr. Moghal for her leadership and dedication to providing quality education to youth through Greenwich University. He emphasized the institution’s critical role in empowering young people with knowledge and skills essential for national development.
The Iftar event concluded on a celebratory note with Dr. Moghal announcing the winners of a lucky draw for Umrah, adding a moment of joy to the evening. The gathering brought together educationists, social workers, and public figures to celebrate both the spirit of Ramadan and the Governor’s ongoing philanthropic contributions.
