GAZA: Hamas has condemned the Israeli strike that killed Iran’s security chief Ali Larijani, expressing solidarity with the Iranian people following his martyrdom. According to Arab media reports, the Palestinian resistance group extended its condolences to the Iranian nation, describing Israel’s actions against Iran as “a crime targeting the entire region” and a “treacherous attack.”
Larijani, who served as secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, was killed alongside his son Morteza, his aide Alireza Bayat, and several bodyguards in an Israeli airstrike near Tehran. The 67-year-old was one of the most prominent political figures to emerge after the Iranian Revolution, having served previously as parliamentary speaker for 12 years and as the country’s chief nuclear negotiator. His death marks the highest-profile assassination since the killing of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on February 28, when the United States and Israel initiated hostilities that have since engulfed the region.
