SUKKUR: In a significant stride towards empowering underprivileged CSS aspirants, Sukkur IBA University inaugurated its CSS Scholarship Program in collaboration with the District Council Sukkur. The ceremony, held at the University’s main auditorium, marked a key moment in the mission to provide equal opportunities for aspiring civil servants from marginalized communities.

The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Syed Kumail Hyder Shah, Chairman of the District Council Sukkur, Commissioner of Sukkur Division Fayaz Hussain Abbasi, DIGP Sukkur Pir Muhammad Shah, Vice Chancellor of Sukkur IBA University Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh, and other notable figures from the academic and administrative sectors.

Syed Kumail Hyder Shah, the Chief Guest, expressed his pride in the partnership between the District Council and Sukkur IBA University. He emphasized the program’s personal significance, highlighting the transformative potential it holds for the region. “Even if just one student succeeds in the CSS exams,” he noted, “it will signify that our efforts have borne fruit.”

Commissioner Sukkur, Fayaz Hussain Abbasi, hailed the fully funded CSS program as a “lifelong and life-saving initiative.” He stressed the importance of taking extraordinary measures to secure the future of coming generations, reiterating the commitment of the District Council Sukkur to providing equal educational opportunities for all.
The event was also attended by Pro Vice Chancellors, Prof. Dr. Syed Mir Muhammad Shah and Prof. Dr. M Abdul Rehman Soomrani, alongside Director of the Executive Development Center, Prof. Dr. Altaf Hussain Samu, and other respected faculty members. Parents of the scholarship recipients expressed their gratitude to Sukkur IBA University and the District Council for providing a brighter future for their children.
