DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Zulfiqar Hameed, visited Dera Ismail Khan on Thursday to meet the families of police personnel who were martyred or injured in a recent terrorist attack at Wanda Badh Panyala, pledging uncompromising action against militant networks.

The visit came amid heightened security concerns in the region and underscored the police leadership’s commitment to both operational readiness and community reassurance. At the Police Lines, Hameed laid a floral wreath at the Police Martyrs’ Memorial and offered prayers for the fallen officers, paying tribute to their bravery and sacrifice.

He reaffirmed the force’s determination to combat terrorism until it is fully eradicated, highlighting forthcoming initiatives, including the introduction of Safe City projects and modern surveillance technology in D.I. Khan to curb criminal and anti-state activities.
