KARACHI: A fire broke out suddenly at a tissue paper factory operating inside a residential house in organisational UC-18 and municipal UC-07 of Block D, North Nazimabad Town.
Upon receiving information about the incident, MQM Pakistan’s Haq Parast member of the Sindh Assembly, Kiran Masood Baji, reached the site along with fire brigade vehicles from Mujahid Colony and proceeded to the second location of the incident.

Due to the timely response of the fire brigade staff, all human lives present inside the factory were saved. During rescue operations, it was discovered that an illegal call centre was operating on the first floor of the building. With the cooperation of the Assistant Commissioner of District Central, the call centre was immediately sealed and a notice was issued to the owner of the house.
Speaking on the occasion, Kiran Masood Baji said that it was the responsibility of local neighbourhood committees to promptly inform the nearest police station if any commercial activity was being carried out inside residential areas. She said that MQM Pakistan’s office-bearers, workers and Haq Parast representatives remained present among the people at all times to address their issues.
