QUETTA: Balaach Baloch, the former logistics chief of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), has claimed that India has established a specialized 1,200-member terrorist unit under the leadership of Col. Himanshu Tiwari, an Indian Army officer, to produce propaganda videos that falsely depict unrest in Balochistan.

According to Balaach Baloch, footage shot in locations as distant as Ladakh and Bamyan, Gujrat, was being manipulated to appear as though it came from Balochistan, creating fear and confusion among the local population. He accused India of funding and providing logistical support for terrorist activities in Balochistan.

Speaking to the media, Balaach Baloch said, “Many videos are shot in Gujarat or Ladakh and made to look like they are from Balochistan, creating anxiety among ordinary citizens.” He warned that the strategy was part of a broader campaign to manipulate global perception of the situation in Balochistan and to destabilize the region.

Balaach also alleged that Indian operatives were actively recruiting Baloch youths, luring them into militant networks and jeopardizing their futures. Observers claimed that the effects of India’s cross-border terrorism were no longer confined to Pakistan but had begun to reach countries including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, signaling the global reach of RAW’s terror operations.

Highlighting the involvement of India’s intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), they drew comparisons between Nikhil Gupta, an Indian official recently arrested in the United States for running a terrorist network on American soil, and Kulbhushan Sudhir Yadav, an Indian Navy officer, apprehended in Pakistan for similar activities.
