KARACHI: The Indonesian pavilion at the four-day International Consumer Products Fair (ICPF) 2025 at the Karachi Expo Center emerged as one of the highlights of the event, attracting considerable attention from visitors and industry representatives alike.
The pavilion showcased a wide array of Indonesian products, ranging from spices and food items to health and wellness products, cosmetics, household goods, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). The pavilion was inaugurated by Mudzakir MA, Consul General of Indonesia in Karachi, accompanied by Head of Chancery Dewanto Priyoxumo and Economic Counselor Dr. Ahmed Sefian.

The opening ceremony saw the presence of diplomats, industry leaders, and business representatives, reflecting the strong interest in Indonesia-Pakistan trade relations. In his remarks, the Consul General described ICPF 2025 as an excellent platform to enhance commercial and investment cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the wake of President Joko Widodo’s recent visit to Islamabad.
He highlighted that the ongoing business-to-business meetings during the exhibition were expected to lay the foundation for deeper and more sustainable trade partnerships. Eleven leading Indonesian companies participated in the fair, presenting high-quality products that demonstrated the diversity and competitiveness of Indonesia’s export sector.

The companies showcased items including culinary spices, packaged foods, personal care and wellness products, household goods, and FMCG, providing visitors with a comprehensive view of Indonesia’s commercial offerings. The Indonesian Consulate expressed gratitude to the event organizers for facilitating a successful exhibition and emphasized the importance of such platforms in strengthening trade ties between Pakistan and Indonesia.
Observers noted that the pavilion not only highlighted Indonesia’s economic potential but also reinforced cultural and commercial engagement between the two nations.
