DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Government Degree College Proa delivered an impressive performance in the Gomal University Inter Collegiate Table Tennis Tournament 2025, securing the Runner-Up Trophy and demonstrating remarkable skill, determination, and sporting spirit.

In the team event final, Proa players Hasib ul Nain, Muhammad Idrees, and Muhammad Qandeel showed resilience and technical prowess, giving the winning team, Degree College No. 1 Dera Ismail Khan, a formidable challenge and winning the admiration of spectators.

Principal Yousaf Khan Marwat, alongside Sports Sciences faculty members Niaz Hussain, Salman Kabir, and other teachers, praised the players for their dedication and hard work. They highlighted that the achievement reflected both the guidance of the Sports Sciences Department and the students’ consistent effort.

Officials emphasized that the college remains committed to maintaining high academic standards alongside co-curricular excellence. The performance of Proa’s players illustrated that students from regions with limited educational resources could also achieve extraordinary success.

Hasib ul Nain, Muhammad Idrees, and Muhammad Qandeel not only showcased exceptional talent but also brought pride to their college, proving that consistency, commitment, and hard work underpin achievement.

Teachers, students, and parents extended heartfelt congratulations to the team and expressed confidence that Proa College’s promising players would continue to excel at national and international levels. The tournament’s outcome reinforced the message that with sincere guidance, determination, and teamwork, success becomes a tradition rather than merely a goal.
