ANKARA: Iran has allowed a Turkish vessel to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, according to Abdulkadir Uraloglu, the transport minister of Turkey.
Uraloglu said that around 15 Turkish ships are currently present in the region and that Iran had granted passage to one of them, which has now successfully crossed the strait.
Meanwhile, European countries including France and Italy have expressed willingness to engage in talks with Iran to ensure safe maritime passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
According to a report by the Financial Times, European nations are seeking to restore energy supplies without allowing the conflict to escalate further.
