KARACHI: The Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi, Hassan Nourian, has extended warm congratulations to the people and government of Pakistan on the occasion of Pakistan Day. In his message, he expressed his admiration for the historic significance of March 23, acknowledging the determination and sacrifices that led to the creation of Pakistan.

Nourian underscored the deep-rooted ties between Iran and Pakistan, highlighting the shared cultural, religious, and historical bonds that have long defined their relationship. He voiced optimism about strengthening economic cooperation, noting that enhanced trade and connectivity between the two neighbouring countries could pave the way for regional prosperity.

Reaffirming Iran’s commitment to fostering bilateral relations, he emphasized that both nations must work together to overcome common challenges and seize opportunities for mutual growth. His message reflected Iran’s broader vision for regional stability, advocating for stronger diplomatic and economic partnerships that could benefit not just Pakistan and Iran, but the entire region.
