TEHRAN / KUWAIT: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for targeting a US military base in Kuwait, amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
In a separate strike, Iran reportedly launched a series of missiles on Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport. Iranian media released video footage showing multiple missiles hitting the airport, triggering explosions and large fires. According to reports, Israel’s defense systems intercepted only a few of the missiles, while air raid sirens were heard across the area.
The escalation comes as the United States has vowed to continue operations against Iran until “complete defeat” is achieved.
At the United Nations, Iranian Ambassador Amir Saeed Iravani claimed that US and Israeli attacks have killed more than 1,300 Iranian civilians. He added that 9,669 civilian sites have been destroyed, including 7,943 residential buildings, highlighting the scale of the destruction caused by ongoing airstrikes.
